Right-click everywhere! For instance- you can copy specific information into the Windows clipboard without first opening the entry for editing. After you have displayed an entry by selecting it in the list box. Right click on what it is you want to copy (such as a telephone or e-mail address) and you will be presented with a popup menu of options- select Copy.
You can use the "Comments" category to classify people in many ways. For instance- if you put the words "Club Member" into the Comments category of certain entries you can then quickly list them by using the Find tool and specifying "Club Member." All entries with the words "Club Member" in their Comments will be listed under the "?" (Find) tab.
To quickly group ALL the entries into one tab use the Find tool and leave the "Look for:" line blank. All the entries in the phone book will be sorted in the "?" (Find) tab.
The "Print To File" option in the Print box directs the output to a text file. Instead of a piece of paper you will have a text file which can then be printed or inserted into another document or faxed or e-mailed at any time.
The Sort option in the view menu allows you to sort the entries in your phone book in a variety of ways. Note: If you choose to sort all the entries by a numeric category such as Telephone then all the entries will appear sorted in numerical order under the "..." (miscellaneous) tab.
To quickly copy a certain bit of information from all the entries that are listed in a tab into the Windows clipboard use the Copy List tool.
To dial a phone number- right click on it and select "QuickDial" to instantly dial the number or select "Dial..." to be presented with an opportunity to edit the number before dialing. (It is recommended that you install the Phone Dialer applet that comes with Windows 95. If this utility is present on your system then FlashTrack will use it to dial the number)."
